Dr. J Harold Ellens

While retired from many of his professional activities at the university and church, Dr. Ellens continues to be vigorously involved in his private practice in psychotherapy and in lecturing at home and abroad.

Purpose

The purpose of his work remains as it has throughout his 55 years of professional life: to enhance the illumination, understanding, and wisdom of persons and of the human community regarding the truth and reality of how humans can function for optimal comfort, consolation, purposiveness, optimism, vigor, and positive achievement, in the face of the fact that life is a tragic adventure. Dr. Ellens is a truth-teller and wishes to be nothing more or less than that.
